3 Power Lucid Dream Techniques

A lucid dream is a dream in which you are consciously aware that you are dreaming. It is the ultimate virtual reality experience, and is a direct connection to your powerful subconscious mind. You can use lucid dreams to grow spiritually, overcome fears, and enhance many areas of your life.

Below are three powerful techniques I have personally used to induce lucid dreams:

1) TAPE PLAYER METHOD

Use a tape player or MP3 player with your voice recorded on it that tells you to check to see if you are dreaming, or that reminds you to realize you are having a dream. Turn on the player when you go to bed or even better turn in on when you awaken in middle of the night or when you wake up from just having a dream. When you go back to bed after awakening you are more than likely to have a dream. I usually record the affirmations about one minute apart so when I go into REM sleep the tape recorder reminds me to check if I am dreaming. At first you may have difficulty falling asleep since every minute or so you will hear the affirmations, but soon you will become accustom to the sound of your voice and fall asleep. Your voice on the tape recorder will remind you check to see of you are dreaming while you are having the dream and will help you become lucid.

2) DO REALITY CHECKS

Check to see if you are dreaming during the day while awake, especially if you find yourself in an odd or unusual situation. Checking to see if you are dreaming while awake will translate into doing a reality check while you are dreaming. Don't pinch yourself to see if you are dreaming, or jump in the air to see if you can fly: All that may happen if you do this type of reality check in a dream is you may feel a slight pain from the pinch, or if you jump in the air and try flying you may end up just coming back down from the jump. The best way to do a reality check is to ask the question:

"How Did I Get Here?"

Since the dream environment is constantly changing and evolving, if you are dreaming you will suddenly find yourself in a dream but will not be able to logically retrace the steps you took to get there. If you can retrace your steps you are more than likely not dreaming. However if you cannot retrace your steps you are having a dream.

3) REPEAT AFFIRMATIONS

Repeat the following affirmations before bed or when you wake up from just having a dream, but plan on going back to sleep right away:

» I awaken within my dreams
» My waking consciousness goes with me into my dreams
» I am consciously aware of my dreams
» Lucid dreaming is easy for me
» When I dream, I am aware I am dreaming
» I remember my lucid dreams
» I have the power to control my dreams
» I do reality checks while dreaming
» I notice the dream signs that help me become lucid
» I become consciously aware of odd occurrences in dreams
» I am determined but detached while dreaming
» My dream intention is strong
» I visualize becoming lucid in my dreams
» Tonight I will recognize that I am dreaming
» Tonight I will have a lucid dream
» I have a greater awareness of reality
» I recognize I am dreaming while dreaming
» I remain emotionally calm when dreaming
» I check to see if I am really awake often
» I know the difference between reality and dreaming
» I do reality checks often
» I have the ability to lucid dream at will
» I am the master of my dreams
» I am a master at the art of lucid dreams

The Healing Power of Your Mind---3 Things You Can Do to Use Your Mind to Heal

There are many things that modern medicine can’t explain. Many who have been diagnosed with a life threatening illness do get better, and others who have the best medical care sometimes do not. Yes, early diagnosis is helpful, but even if you are in the later stages of an illness or life threatening disease there are things you can do to tap into your natural healing energy. Below are 3 things that can help you heal:

1) Faith not Fear

No matter what your religious beliefs, having faith and calling upon the infinite power of the Universe does help. Prayers are always answered if you ask in the right way. Fear can block your call for help and connection to this Power. If you are sick and have a life threatening illness the best time to ask your inner self for help is when you are going to bed at night or in the morning when you awaken. This is the time when your fearful conscious mind is not fully active, and you have a better connection to your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is your direct connection to the infinite power of the Universe.

2) A Positive Mindset

Doctor’s still can’t explain why some patients “miraculously” get better and others do not. A shift in your mindset and the way you think and feel about yourself can have amazing results in helping you recover. However, when you are sick keeping a positive mindset is easier said than done. You must use your mind to focus on a positive outcome. If you notice negative thoughts creeping in, do not dwell on them. Change your thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts. This will take practice but the more you monitor your thoughts the better you will become at changing them. This will allow spiritual energy to flow through your body and heal you. Focusing on negative thoughts can block the energy your body requires to heal. If you have trouble focusing on positive thoughts then engage in an activity that takes your mind away from the negative thoughts.

3) Visualization and Affirmations

It is a well documented fact that French Psychologist Emile Coué helped heal hundreds of patients by teaching them to repeat the following affirmation each morning and evening:

"Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better”

However keep in mind if you mindlessly repeat affirmations without visualizing the changes you want to happen, the results you desire may never come to fruition. Visualization allows your conscious mind to connect to your subconscious mind, and your subconscious mind has direct access to your powerful Inner Self. You also have to believe in the affirmations you are repeating. If you consciously repeat the affirmations but do not believe them your subconscious mind will respond by blocking your connection to your healing power.

Below is a list of affirmations you can use:

» My body is healing now
» I live a healthy life style
» My immune system is strong and healthy
» The light is always with me
» You are a radiant and magnificent being
» I am blessed with strength and wholeness
» My body absorbs nourishment
» I am vibrant and healthy
» I am blessed with health
» Divine Light heals me now
» My cells absorb healing energy and love
» I am whole and well
» Healing energy flows through my body
» I let the power of love heal me
» I receive perfect health into my body
» My spirit can never be taken from me
» I give my body full permission to heal
» My treatment is effective
» My healthy cells produce a healthy body
» Good health and I are one
» I release my fear
» I let go of all negative ideas about my body
» The root cause of my pain heals now
» I am the source of my health
» I continue to receive healing power
» My cells absorb light and love
» I continue to receive healing energy
» Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better

The Abundance Mindset

Many people falsely believe that if they change their subconscious mind that they will change their life. However, changing your subconscious mind is only half of the equation. Both the conscious and subconscious mind must be aligned in order to bring about an abundance mindset. The conscious mind is the pilot, so to speak, that commands the infinite power of the subconscious. The glue that bonds the two together is your imagination or ability to visualize and picture the changes that you want in your life.

Others falsely believe that repeating affirmations will change their life. I repeated affirmations for years without any results. If you mindlessly repeat affirmations without visualizing the changes you want to happen, the results you desire to manifest may never come to fruition.

You can even be programmed for failure by the media and not even know it: Let's say you watch a movie depicting the rich guy as being the villain and the poor humble orphan as being the good guy. Good examples of movies like this are Titanic, Spider Man, Superman, and Harry Potter etc...Even though you desire to be rich what you may not realize is that your subconscious mind is being programmed that being rich is bad, and being poor is noble and good.

Realizing this will help you change subconscious beliefs for the better. Now that you have changed your subconscious beliefs about yourself (and money in this example) you are halfway there. The pilot, your conscious mind, still has to direct the power of the subconscious mind. If you look around and see a mountain of bills to be paid and consciously say to yourself "I am always broke" your subconscious mind will respond to your command even though it now believes there is nothing wrong with being rich. Hence the famous saying "All that you are is a result of your thoughts" The Buddha
